While the topics in this update are all the same, the methods in some cases are different now. For example the class on checking for broken links (video 18) showed the use of plugins in the previous version. I could not get any of those or any plugin to fully work properly so I only covered non-plugin methods in the updated version.
IDEA:
Some of these videos run a bit long and that gives you the benefit of segmenting them into a mini-series of training on that topic. When the video is 8 or 9 minutes, you can segment it into 2 or 3 classes.
So instead of having 20 videos in your site maintenance course, you can have 25 or 30 or more.
The same goes for combining classes so your course contains 3 or 4 super long videos. Whatever you think your customers will benefit the most from.
I have training videos in the bonus section of your Members Dashboard that covers segmenting your videos if you need help with that. Of course you can always reach out for any additional help. I always reply within hours not days to any requests so don't be shy.
Combine this technique with your branding for an even more unique learning experience from that of your competitors.
REMINDER:
Later this year (around October 2022) WordPress is scheduled to release the next major update - version 6.1.
Remember that any version update that has only 2 digits separated by decimals (6.0 or 6.1), it is considered a Major update.
Three digits like 6.0.1 or 6.0.5 are considered Minor updates.
Regardless of how many changes there are, you should always hold off on updating to a new Major update for at least a few days.
The Minor updates are the exact opposite.
ALWAYS install the Minor updates immediately because they usually contain security patches but not the possible site breaking big changes that the Major updates contain.
