ChatGPT Atlas Browser Can Be Tricked by Fake URLs into Executing Hidden Commands
Turns out AI powered browsers, not just Atlas, can be 'fooled.'
In a hypothetical attack scenario, a link could be placed behind a "Copy link" button, effectively allowing an attacker to lead victims to phishing pages under their control.
Even worse, it could contain a hidden command to delete files from connected apps like Google Drive.
The disclosure comes as SquareX Labs demonstrated that threat actors can spoof sidebars for AI assistants inside browser interfaces using malicious extensions to steal data or trick users into downloading and running malware.
The technique has been codenamed AI Sidebar Spoofing.
Alternatively, it is also possible for malicious sites to have a spoofed AI sidebar natively, obviating the need for a browser add-on.

Google's New Ai Studio Lets Anyone Build & Deploy Apps Live In Minutes
Google AI Studio has gotten a big upgrade with a new interface, buttons, suggestions and community features that allow anyone with an idea for an app, even complete novices, laypeople, or non-developers like yours truly, to bring it into existence and deploy it live, on the web, for anyone to use, within minutes.
The updated Build tab is available now at ai.studio/build, and it’s free to start.
Users can experiment with building applications without needing to enter payment information upfront, though certain advanced features like Veo 3.1 and Cloud Run deployment require a paid API key.
The new features appear to me to make Google's AI models and offerings even more competitive.
Perhaps preferred, for many general users to dedicated AI startup rivals like Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex.
These two "vibe coding" focused products that are beloved by developers, but seem to have a higher barrier to entry or may require more technical know-how.

*Note: In that post are a few mentions of my 5-part video set that shows me using the free AI tools and custom prompts to pull the good bits from the different assets and the double-check the work and then build an outline then fill in the outline. Oh and the images also. The cover image and how to generate images for the different chapters of our premium content/eBook.
Either way, the 'Franken'-method of merging different pieces into a single piece within hours using the free AI tools or the tried & true manual method, this blog post will help you breath life back into your PLR content that has been gathering digital dust.
